What Does “Necessary” Suffering Mean?

“It’s very difficult to find anyone who would disagree with the proposition that it’s wrong to inflict unnecessary suffering on animals. Now, what do we mean when we say ‘necessary’?”

    Very important concept for vegan advocates to be able to articulate – this is a perfect learning video to enable someone to be able to do that. Thank you so much for uploading this video. Since hearing this concept articulated in this way I have asked many people at my street stall if they think it is wrong to cause unnecessary suffering and death on animals and my experience is the same – they all say “yes”. Then the conversation goes where it ought. Great video!
